After living in an array of beautiful places—from the picturesque Grand Cayman Island to the Arizona desert—my journey brought me back home to the Hudson Valley, NY. While I love to travel, I’m a country guy at heart who values roots and has a deep passion for education. Whether I’m developing my own skills or mentoring other therapists, I believe that being open to learning keeps us evolving and growing. As the saying goes, happiness is not a destination; it is a journey!
As an educator, I am a Board-Approved Continuing Education Provider through NCBTMB, offering live classes and webinars across the country and internationally. My passion for education fuels my mission to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment. I focus on blending evidence-based practices with real-world applications, while adding a good dose of humor to the classroom. I have a reputation for making complex material clear and hands-on skills practical. My teaching style keeps classes engaging and enjoyable. Students walk away not only with knowledge but also with confidence and inspiration.
I am on faculty at Advanced BodyWork Education, LMT Success Group, The Academy of Lymphatic Studies, and the World Massage Festival. Previously, at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies, I enjoyed supporting entry-level students as they became skilled therapists. I traveled between four campuses, teaching subjects such as injury rehabilitation, manual lymphatic drainage, and cupping—my first love. My students often praise my passion and enthusiasm, noting that I mix high energy with depth of knowledge to create a truly educational experience. I strive to empower each therapist to foster their unique style.
As a bodywork specialist, I have a diverse skill set. My education and training range from hands-on techniques to sound and vibration frequency therapies, and I specialize in orthopedic/medical massage. This type of manual therapy is focused and results-oriented through targeted treatments. I customize bodywork sessions by integrating time-honored techniques and ancient wisdom with modern innovation…like cups. I specialize in cupping and am dedicated to dispelling myths and raising awareness of its benefits in bodywork. I am also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in Advanced Lymphedema Management (CLT-ALM) and specialize in Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I work with clients recovering from surgery or injury, or those with a compromised lymphatic system. Supporting this system after surgery or trauma aids recovery by promoting more efficient lymphatic flow, resulting in less downtime for the client.
As a Certified VibroAcoustic Therapy Practitioner, I integrate sound and vibration to create a more profound healing environment. I truly believe in the power of sound, music, and vibration. Before my life in massage, I was a classically trained musician. A self-proclaimed music geek, I played the bassoon, yup….. band camp and everything! I even had the opportunity to play with an orchestra at Carnegie Hall. Having sat in front of the brass section, I understand how powerful sound can be. Whether it’s powerful or delicate it’s always sensed and felt. As a long-time music lover, it was only natural to integrate the power of sound and vibration into my therapies.
